Where am I?!

You wake up one day in unfamiliar surroundings.  By day’s end, you realize the unimaginable horror – you have been transported to a society that consists entirely – except for you – of Biblical Christians, all of whom obey the Scripture in every point.
Five years later, after suffering as the sole individual who doesn’t believe that God came to Earth in the form of man, you recount the nightmarish existence of life in this foreign place.

You’ve never been told a lie.

You’ve never had a single thing stolen.

On the third day, when you made it plain that you didn’t want to hear the foolishness of the Gospel, no one has said another word about it directly to you.

You’ve never been the victim of road rage.

You’ve never been told there is something you’re not allowed to do, except when you wanted to do something that affected someone else’s freedom to do the same.

Politicians who do anything other than ensure the sanctity of property rights do not exist.

You’ve never seen an abused animal.

You’ve never seen an abused child.

You’ve never seen one dime spent on crime prevention or jails.

You have never been required to pay taxes; you were merely told that without doing so you were not able to derive any benefit from its services, such as a driver’s license, and so forth.  Consequently, you took home every penny you earned, paying only for services you desired.

In five years, you have not seen a single incident driven by greed.

In five years, you have not seen a single instance of rape.

In five years, you have not heard of a single murder.

In five years, you have seen not one life ruined by drugs – of any kind.

In five years, you have not seen one person who isn’t busy pursuing some constructive activity within their physical and mental abilities.  Unemployment does not exist among the able bodied.

Of course, no such place exists, because Christians are failed.  Some more than others.  Some so badly that you can’t tell them from the lost.

So you can be forgiven for having a problem with Christians.

But we hope to be forgiven for not taking your problem with Christianity seriously.
